Paul G. Kent

Paul Kent’s law practice focuses on environmental regulatory matters with a particular emphasis on water issues. He represents municipalities on wastewater, stormwater, water supply, mining, energy and other environmental issues. He also represents individuals and businesses on land use and development matters including developments in and around shorelands, wetlands, and navigable waters. He has served on over a dozen DNR advisory committees on water policy issues and has been involved in developing environmental legislation. He has argued cases before the Wisconsin and United States Supreme Courts.

Vanessa Wishart

Vanessa Wishart joined Stafford Rosenbaum as an associate attorney in June 2015.  Prior to joining Stafford, Ms. Wishart served a clerk for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.  She holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Master of Science in Environmental Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.  Ms. Wishart will be working with Paul Kent on a number of MEG issues, including the statewide multi-discharger phosphorus variance, WPDES contested case hearings, and the Wisconsin River TMDL development.

Larry Konopacki

Larry Konopacki’s practice has focused on issues related to environmental law, natural resources, agriculture, administrative law, government affairs, local governments, energy and other utilities, and other various regulatory matters.  Prior to joining Stafford Rosenbaum, Larry worked as an attorney for more than a decade with the Wisconsin Legislative Council, which provides nonpartisan legal services to the Wisconsin State Legislature.
Marjorie A. Irving
Marjorie has worked as a legal assistant in the environmental law area for over forty years. She has been working with MEG for sixteen years in a support capacity. She is responsible for routing member inquiries to Paul, Vanessa, Larry and Liz, handling the annual steering committee elections, updating membership information, collecting membership dues, and coordinating publication of the MEG newsletter.
